Bonding and White Fillings

Bonding is the easiest and quickest solution to repair a damage tooth. Bonding uses a plastic composite resin, which hardens when cured a blue UV light.

At Wise Dental Centre, we use bonding to fix a chipped tooth.

  1. We'll first use a mild cleanser that roughens your tooth so the resin will better adhere to your existing tooth.
  2. We will choose the resin to best match your tooth colour.
  3. In layers, we'll apply the resin to your tooth.
  4. A blue light will be used to harden (cure) the resin.
  5. Finally, we'll shape and polish the resin to make it look natural.

Bonding is safe for children and is a quick repair solution that can be done in one visit.
