I consider having chosen Dr. Wise as my dentist to be one of the greatest bits of serendipity to befall me this past year. Anyone with a long-standing relationship with a good dentist can’t appreciate the dread faced by those of us without: dragging your finger down a line of names in the Yellow Pages is often your only option. With hundreds of dentists to choose from, I sincerely can’t imagine having been luckier in my choice.

Recently I broke a tooth, and not having been to a dentist in years (in light of some terribly unpleasant dental experiences as a child,) it was with great trepidation that I sat in Dr. Wise’s chair. I confessed to her that I was very nervous, and that I’d endured a lot of dental trauma in my life. As she lowered the chair, she quipped, “well then, this shouldn’t come as a surprise.” I laughed as she smiled, and I was immediately at ease. What followed was a painless experience that has completely put me at ease about future visits- she even put a bit of gel on my gums that numbed them, so when the needle went in I couldn’t feel a thing. Incredible! The warm, friendly atmosphere is unlike any I’ve ever seen in a professional office; I was a bit incredulous as I left Dr. Wise’s office with a grin on my face, and a perfectly repaired tooth.

I truly can’t say enough about Dr. Wise and her staff. I’ve since returned for a cleaning (which was done with the most steady, cautious, yet thorough hand that’s ever cleaned my teeth- thanks Linda!) and am now getting fitted for a take-home whitening kit. Sincerely- if I moved to Alaska, I’d still make my way back to Dr. Wise’s office if I needed a dentist- even if I had to walk!

Since I was a little girl, I have been terrified of going to the dentist. When I moved to BC and became a patient of Dr. Wise, I was amazed at how gentle, and thorough she was. Her staff is very friendly and professional, and going to the dentist is no longer something I dread. I would never hesitate to recommend Dr. Wise to any of my friends and family- even those who are big wimps!

Going to the dentist for most of us is never our favorite thing to do. But I never have a worry or concern when I have to go see Dr. Wise, as she always makes the visit a fun, pleasant experience. She is warm, welcoming, funny, and most of all, it never hurts. She is incredibly gentle and takes the time to explain what she is doing. Definitely the best dentist I have ever visited.

Dr. Wise is by far the best dentist I have ever visited. Dr. Wise's office is extremely pleasant, her staff incredibly courteous and competent. I have never been a fan of going to the dentist and to be frank getting me there was like"pulling teeth". Dr. Wise changed all that for me.
