Dr. Sherri Wise: Biography

Born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Dr. Sherri Wise attended the University of Manitoba where she obtained an Advanced Bachelor of Arts and Science in 1991. Then moving to Chicago, she attended Northwestern Dental School and graduated with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1995. Upon graduation, Dr. Wise moved to Vancouver to do a one-year dental residency at Vancouver General Hospital, and has been practicing general dentistry in Vancouver since 1997.

Dr. Wise has extensive experience in geriatric dentistry, which was attained by volunteering her time for over 10 years to long-term care facilities. Dr. Wise is a member of the Canadian Dental Association, American Dental Association, and is an active member of the Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity. Her commitment to attending continuing education courses and workshops enables her to provide the ultimate in dental care and prevention.

When Dr. Wise is not spending time in the office, volunteering, or in Continuing Education classes, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, watching movies, and just enjoying life.
